Often, we find ourselves stuck in cycles that allow us to survive, but inhibit our ability to know our true selves. I aim to create a liberatory space that allows for curiosity, humor, and creativity. I believe that the here-and-now is inseparable from our past experiences and the social and political worlds we inhabit. Together, we can explore the whole you and work towards a more authentic life.
I specialize in working with interpersonal and internal struggles, life transitions, substance use, and questions of gender and sexuality. My practice is informed by both a psychodynamic approach and my background as an organizer and harm reductionist. I work with pre-teens, adolescents, and adults in both individual and relationship therapy.
I hold an M.S.W. from Smith College School for Social Work and a B.A. from Reed College. I work in person in Union Square.
No matter where you are, we can move forward when you’re ready to begin.
